Environmental Compliance Program

In 2016, our client acquired operating assets in northern Louisiana. As part of assessing the new acquisitions, Verdanterra was hired to evaluate environmental compliance on over 200 well pads and facilities. Their duties included, photo-documentation, evaluating spill prevention and countermeasure compliance, and noting any potential environmental concerns. Verdanterra staff experts also conducted a desktop analysis to determine location of historic assets using advanced mapping techniques and aerial photography.

In addition to completing the initial site investigations, Verdanterra staff have also provided our client with the following services:

• SPCC reporting
• Annual facility inspection and documentation
• Construction and stormwater inspections
• Coordination of spill response, identification and clean up.

In 2019, this client hired Verdanterra to conduct these same services in support of their operations in northern Pennsylvania. Verdanterra staff now have responsibility for assisting with documenting compliance with Pennsylvania’s more restrictive regulations concerning environmental compliance.
