Over the last five years, Verdanterra has supported over 500 miles of linear project development for Equitrans Midstream Corporation, including projects in both Pennsylvania and West Virginia. As part of this program, we've provided routing and siting, civil survey, engineering and environmental permitting support for a variety of large and small projects and systems.
Verdanterra performed survey and routing services for gathering systems to help the client select a sound pipeline route from a constructability standpoint, while avoiding environmental impacts and increased permit scrutiny to the greatest extent practicable. We provided civil site design for ancillary sites such as meters, launcher/receivers, and valve yards. Our staff conducted land surveys including simple property line justifications, deed mosaics, and closed-boundary property surveys with deed descriptions. Our knowledge of state and federal regulations and relationships with these agencies has allowed us to navigate environmental challenges in a quick and efficient manner providing reliable timelines for project planning.
Our staff permitted several challenging projects including an open-cut crossing of the Monongahela River and numerous projects with cultural resources or rare, threatened, and endangered species conflicts. Most recently, Verdanterra has added UAV mapping and data collection services as an added value to our clients. Our UAV program allows Verdanterra to provide clients with recent aerial photography of pipeline corridors which aids in the planning process as well as providing accurate mapping for alignment sheets and permit plans.
