Verdanterra is currently looking for an experienced civil engineer/project manager to join our renewables team. This position will support our team in managing, designing and permitting of solar generation facilities throughout the United States. This manager will join other leaders in the group as they work to complete projects, integrate our multi-discipline approach, and develop more market share within the renewables marketplace. The position works closely with our clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate would be willing to commute or relocate to either of our offices in Madison, Wisconsin or Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. A remote position may be considered for an experienced candidate.

We are seeking a motivated individual to fill an open position as an environmental scientist. This position will team with other staff to conduct environmental field assessments and complete technical reports. This position involves conducting ASTM/AAI compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) projects, which will include site inspections, research and interviews, data review and interpretation, and report writing. The position also will involve completing Tier I level technical reviews of various environmental assessment reports, workplans, and other environmental-related documentation. Involvement in soil, groundwater, drinking water and air sampling likely also will be among the responsibilities. Candidates must be capable of understanding and implementing health and safety plans, and interfacing with both internal staff (project managers and project coordinators) as well as client representatives and other project discipline leads.
Our project opportunities are geographically diverse, with immediate opportunities to work across Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Regardless of exact location, the field conditions can be rugged. Travel may be required. Compensation packages include overtime pay, per diem and expense reimbursement, and bonuses based on performance. Verdanterra is looking for a Survey/CAD Technician to join our team based in Canonsburg, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible, motivated, flexible, and organized with a strong work ethic and ability to perform their duties with minimal supervision. Candidates must be dedicated to working in a safety-first environment. This position is primarily an office survey position however candidates may be expected to perform field tasks and support other services lines as appropriate. Projects will be located primarily in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia but travel in support of projects located in other regions may be necessary.
Survey/CAD Technician will be responsible for CAD drafting and survey field support using Autodesk Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center software. Verdanterra is currently hiring multiple Senior Land Agent positions within our Land Services team. We provide land and real estate services to support a variety of small and large-scale development projects, including renewable energy, electric transmission and oil & gas projects. Senior Land Agent will perform all aspects of right-of-way and real estate related activities, negotiate favorable terms for various land and right of way related agreements secured on behalf of the client, including the acquisition, relinquishment and modification of easements, fee land purchases, permit rights, encroachments resolutions and settlements of damage claims. The position requires right-of-way acquisition, title and property management, relocation, and land valuation skills. Verdanterra has a robust training and mentoring program; Senior Land Agents play a critical role in that program as mentor to junior staff while also having the opportunity to learn from program managers with decades of experience in the industry.
