Verdanterra seeks a Staff Engineer to join our Canonsburg, PA office. The Staff Engineer position provides technical support in Verdanterra’s growing engineering department. The successful candidate will work with our engineering staff to provide permitting and design support for a variety of projects within the energy industry, with a focus on midstream oil and gas projects. Regular activities likely will include permitting and design tasks associated with gathering and transmission pipelines, compressor stations, meter pads, launcher pads and gas well pads. The Staff Engineer may also provide engineering support for renewable energy and land development projects. This position is a full-time, fully benefited position.
Verdanterra is looking for a Survey Party Chief to join our team based in Canonsburg, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible, motivated, flexible, with a strong work ethic and able to perform their duties with minimal supervision. Candidates must be dedicated to working in a safety-first environment. This position is primarily a field survey position however candidates will be expected to perform office tasks and support other services lines as appropriate. Projects will be primarily located in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia but travel nationally in support of projects may be necessary.
Survey Party Chief will be responsible for leading a survey team or teams and must be able to understand, plan, execute and communicate project requirements or procedures to clients and co-workers professionally and effectively; have strong leadership skills, technical and organizational skills; and the ability to give and receive direction. Verdanterra is looking for a Survey/CAD Technician to join our team based in Canonsburg, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible, motivated, flexible, with a strong work ethic and able to perform their duties with minimal supervision. Candidates must be dedicated to working in a safety-first environment. This position is primarily an office survey position however candidates may be expected to perform field tasks and support other services lines as appropriate. Projects will be located primarily in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia but travel in support of projects located in other regions may be necessary.
Survey Technician primarily will be responsible for CAD drafting and survey field support using Autodesk Civil 3D and Trimble Business Center software. Technicians should be proficient with Civil 3D have a knowledge of the technical requirements of land surveying. Additional qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
We are seeking experienced individuals to lead teams of field ecologists on environmental projects. This is a full-time, permanent position. This position involves acting as lead delineator on wetland and waterbody surveys, as well as conducting habitat assessments. The field lead is responsible for directing field ecologists as support staff and collecting, organizing, and summarizing field data. Candidates must be capable of understanding and implementing health and safety plans and interfacing with both internal staff (project managers, project coordinators, junior field ecologists), as well as client representatives and other project discipline leads.
This position is primarily field based. It is likely to require long days outdoors in variable weather and terrain and candidates must be able to hike 3 or more miles a day. Permanent employees will report to either our Madison, WI or Franklin, IN office when not working on location.
We seek a number of ecologists to lead field assessments for ecological projects located across the country. These positions involve leading wetland and waterbody delineations, identifying protected plant species, and conducting habitat assessments, as well as organizing and summarizing field-collected data, and compiling survey reports. Candidates must be capable of understanding and implementing health and safety plans, and interfacing with both internal staff (project managers and project coordinators) as well as client representatives and other project discipline leads.
This position is primarily a field position. It is likely to require long days outdoors in variable weather and terrain. Some projects likely will require travel and six-day work weeks. Work locations vary, ranging throughout the Midwest, Eastern, and Southern United States.
